WHY SANTA CLARITA SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS?
OUR BUSINESS IS DEVELOPING THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS
Established in 2000, The Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts (SCSOPA) has been in the Santa Clarita Valley for 19 years, developing the best actors, dancers, models, and vocalists in the entertainment business. In addition, The Better Business Bureau has accredited SCSOPA with an A+ rating. We are bonded with the State of California. Voted “Best of Santa Clarita” in Acting, Dance, Modeling and Vocal Instruction for 11 consecutive years, SCSOPA has been a Santa Clarita Business Hall of Fame inductee since 2015.
WHAT WE DO FOR OUR STUDENTS
Any great actor knows that you need a professional school and acting coaches to develop and grow as a performer. SCSOPA recognizes that meaningful professional training is not simply a matter of indoctrination in acting skills. Throughout the course of their training, SCSOPA students will experience changes in self-perception, values and outlook on life. The teachers, students and courses work together in complex transformational process that is challenging and engaging and will ultimately give birth to real acting. However, all successful actors also know that first and foremost, performing is a business. And like any other business, you need to learn the business to be in the show.
In conclusion, SCSOPA has built a solid reputation for teaching our students the skills to compete in the entertainment industry. We have tailored our programs accordingly to allow students to grow theirs skills and build their resumes. We encourage our students to push themselves to be the best they can be in life. Above all, SCSOPA hopes to provide all of its students the tools they need to succeed and be a part of the Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts’ legacy.
